About Mickey Lynn
Like any artist, Mickey Lynn is a complex breed. A product of a portrait artist mother and a CIO father, Mickey Lynn loved spending time with both. It wasn’t uncommon for her to sit and write a computer program with her dad, then run out to go paint rocks in the backyard with her mom. Most of her extended family are right-brained creatives, with entrepreneurs in the states and South Korea who are clothing designers, musicians, painters and writers. In fact, at 14 years old, Mickey Lynn was an accomplished flutist, playing in a philharmonic orchestra. She also dabbled in jewelry-making in high school. But the left brain won out and, armed with a computer science degree, Mickey Lynn became a systems engineer for Delta Airlines. Refusing to abandon her creativity, she designed and made jewelry for family and friends in her spare time.
After 10 comfortable but unfulfilling years, Mickey Lynn realized her passion was not working behind a computer, but in designing and creating one-of-a-kind, dazzling pieces of jewelry from natural, semi-precious gemstones and fine, mixed metals. She and her partner, Seth Shindeldecker formed the company in 2006. They pooled resources, set high standards for only the most authentic stones, and created a now nearly legendary following.
Mickey Lynn’s designs have been seen on Demi Lovato, Christina Applegate, Courtney Cox, Elizabeth Hasselbeck, Lucy Liu, Natasha Bedingfield, and Miley Cyrus. Her designs have been on television shows like Access Hollywood, Dirty Sexy Money, Ghost Whisperer, House, CSI: Miami, Samantha Who and The View.
Mickey Lynn only uses all natural stones and many metals are recycled. All are exclusive, unique, custom designed and hand-crafted in Mickey Lynn’s Atlanta studio and gallery.
